Pat graduated from the College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman. She has published books with Adarna House such as Masaya Pala!, Si Mona Ballerina, and What Kids Should Know About Filipino Visual Arts. While she draws in a range of styles and has a variety of interests, much of her work retains themes of exploring and expressing the human experience.
