Rev Cruz has illustrated a number of children’s books (Spinning/Paikot-ikot, Klekluk, Vocations and Pibo). He was awarded Grand Prize in the 2018 PBBY Wordless Picture Book Award, Honorable Mention in the 2017 and 2009 PBBY Alcala Prize, and 2nd place in the 3rd Philippine Graphic Fiction People’s Choice Awards. He is also an educator and a physical therapist specializing in ergonomics and aquatherapy working mostly with special children.
